A Critique of Perennialism

Presupposition that religion is the cause of division and war Presuming that the philosophy of Perennialism is sighted as a deterrent to recent conflicts, I would like to point out that war with Iran is an imperial project which was long in the making. Recently, Neyenyahu said that the war:  "allows us to do what I have been hoping to do for 40 years."  In 2007, the f ormer commander of NATO’s forces in Europe, General Welsey Clark claimed he met a senior military officer in Washington in November 2001 who handed him a memo  describing how the US would take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off with Iran.
