A Critique of Perennialism

Presupposition that religion is the cause of division and war

Presuming that the philosophy of Perennialism is sighted as a deterrent to recent conflicts, I would like to point out that war with Iran is an imperial project which was long in the making. Recently, Neyenyahu said that the war: "allows us to do what I have been hoping to do for 40 years." In 2007, the former commander of NATO’s forces in Europe, General Welsey Clark claimed he met a senior military officer in Washington in November 2001 who handed him a memo describing how the US would take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off with Iran. The purpose of the war isn't religious either. It is to knock out Israel's greatest threat, just like how Iraq was knocked out so that Israel could get 77% of its oil from what was left of the country. Iran doesn't fight on religious grounds either. They're just defending themselves from two countries which attacked them. 

I consider religious minutia to be arbitrary, however I will entertain it. Muslims and Christians are incompatible because Christian scripture warned that Jesus was the last prophet and that any angel visitation from than on would not be God but Satan in disguise. This is compromising for Muslims because Mohammad was named God's messenger in a cave by what he claimed to be the angel Gabriel. Religious Jews have no credence for either of these religions because they consider Jesus to be a false prophet. The Talmud teaches that both Jesus and the prophet Balaam are in hell: ''Onkelos said to him: What is the punishment of that man, a euphemism for Balaam himself, in the next world? Balaam said to him: He is cooked in boiling semen, as he caused Israel to engage in licentious behavior with the daughters of Moab.'' - GITTIN 57A:4

Even if you created a new religion enveloping all nations, it wouldn't prevent conflict, as religion is not the source of conflict, and I will go on to demonstrate this with some historical perspective. Religion is not the moving variable of empires, but has been used as a tool for acquisition, as it was during the Crusades. Even so, there was no religious pretext for US meddling in South America, South-East Asia or Africa. Religion had nothing to do with the covert establishment of Banana republics by the means of bloody insurgence orchestrated by US intelligence on behalf of companies like United Fruit, in countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama. 

As was the case for most of the former mentioned Latin countries, a different pretext was used by America against its targets throughout the 20th century. The war on Communism secured American control of the heroin trade from the Golden Triangle between Vietnam and Laos, while the military industrial complex made a killing producing helicopters at the expense of both American and Vietnamese lives. (see The CIA as Organized Crime by Doug Valentine) Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the war on Communism was replaced by the war on terror, which served as Americas rationale to colonize the Middle East, controlling the Opium trade of the Golden Crescent from Afghanistan under the pretext of liberating women, and procuring Iraqi oil for Israel, under the false pretext that Saddam was in possession of WOMDs, or had given Anthrax to 9/11 hijackers in Prague. The invasion of Libya was fought on the pretext of similar lies, (https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20181025-how-the-world-was-misled-into-the-libyan-war/) but was really a response to Gadhafi aspiring for economic independence. Why export raw goods to Europe where finished products are made and sold when Africa could manufacture and sell them themselves? This would free them from the perpetual loan system of intentional debt by the IMF. This is why Gadhafi was deposed and sodomized with a knife before his death at the hands of Western backed rebels; the Sudanese Civil War, exacerbated by US meddling, compromised Chinese oil contracts. The war on terror is the only example so far with an arguably religious element to it, although much of the bad blood may be over Western imperialism experienced by those in the Middle East thusly radicalized, with Islamism as a vehicle of retribution.

It can be said that, with the war on terror jaded, the war on covid has financially benefitted governments and pharmaceutical companies; the war on climate change has subsidized the production of green energy and technology; the war on racism prompted the bank of America to finance BLM to burn down America's major cities; and the war on homophobia has facilitated the medical industry to provide transition surgeries, and medical recourse to treat complications post surgery, in pain killers and psychological aid; all are rackets exploitative of the tax payer. Just so, all the wars of the modern era have been fought over resources between power-structures bound by common cultures, adapted to their respective environments, with religious justification occasionally serving as a means throughout rivalries, with such religions themselves catering to the pre existing cultures of those using them—who themselves have been at war long before the development of major religious structures.

To reaffirm my point I would like to examine an early example of where religion was used as a vehicle by opposing races in the conquest of wealth and resources. The Crusades can be considered a series of organized campaigns in retaliation to Arab piracy conducted from bases in North Africa and the Middle East, which crashed the European economy for almost 400 years. All this took place during the so called Islamic golden age from ~700 AD - ~1100 AD. In contrast, ~600 AD - ~1000 AD are considered a "Dark Age" for Europe. The first papal call for a crusade occurred in 846 C.E., when an Arab expedition from Sicily sailed up the Tiber and sacked St. Peter’s in Rome. A synod in France issued an appeal to Christian sovereigns to rally against “the enemies of Christ,” and the Pope, Leo IV, offered a heavenly reward to those who died fighting the Muslims. Regardless of any religious veneer, the Islamic pirates' status as enemies of Europeans who didn't want to be plundered and killed, ultimately would also have sufficed as a reason to call for retaliation. Around 1000 AD the Islamic caliphate of  Cordoba in Iberia began expanding North, conquering burning and enslaving its way through multiple Christian cities, including Barcelona and Leon It was the campaign which provoked the Christian kingdoms to launch the Reconquista to retake Iberia from Islam.

Europe likewise enriched itself throughout conquests into the Middle East, as did the Knights Templar who's ranks comprised mainly of the sons of noble families, and became some of the first major bankers in Europe. The Teutonic Order had a similar relationship with the Poles, in the latter's subjugation, throughout conflicts between two European subgroups, one Germanic and one Slavic. Both Western and Eastern movements of the Crusades have successors in the White Christian British Empire and Turkish Muslim Ottoman Empire, both similar as opposing coalitions of separate but compatible races: with the English descending from the blood and power-structures of Germanics, raided by Scandinavians, conquered and perfected by the Normans, with admixture and assistance from celts, either absorbed into the English identity or sovereign as Scotts, Irish, or Welsh; the Turks mirror this clustering of power-structures, with a Turkic basis bled into the admixture of Arabs among other Eastern races, forming the modern Turkish identity.

Although religion in the case of the Crusades had been used as a vehicle to organize compatible peoples to undergo conquest, long before, similar movements had played out in the Persian invasion of Greece, followed by a Hellenic conquest of Persia by Alexander the Great—not to mention all other conflicts for resources between Pagan factions separated consistently by race and culture.

Is it then a coincidence that the wars between Islam and Christianity aligned so perfectly between Europeans and Asians; and that further more the great schism separated Greeks from Italians and Slavic nations from the other northern European factions; then Germanics from the Celtic Irish and Italians following the Reformation? What was the Holy Roman Empire other than a Germanic band bound by language? It is no coincidence that Catholicism is associated with Irish Republicanism, and that loyalists associate with Protestantism in alliance with the Anglo-British. On a geopolitical level what we see is the imposition of a Celt-Germanic power-structure against a Celtic holdout in Ireland. We do not see races alike, hand in hand under the same religion against those of other religions. The historical scenario is practically always preceded by a racial or economic element, with the latter often originating from the former: India is predominantly Hindu, whereas the ethnically Kashmir happen to be Muslim; the crusades were wars between Europeans and Asians, justified by Christianity and Islam; the Spanish used Catholicism as a method of subjugating a then scattered and miscegenated native population in South America; In North America during the turn of the century, Irish and Italians arriving at Ellis Island were discriminated against on religious grounds by an Anglo-protestant establishment, as were the orthodox Slavs of Eastern Europe. Even in this, blood proves to be thicker than water, as although catholic, Irish and Italian crime factions were and have since been at odds, with Lucky Luciano's Commission founded between five *Italian families in New York. There was no such alliance between Irish and Italian factions as fellow Catholics, nor were there duel Irish-Italian neighborhoods—in fact, Al Capone's Chicago outfit would plant its flag in the area following the St. Valentines Day Massacre, in which the members of an Irish gang were lined up and mowed down by hoods impersonating police officers. In the 80s, Whitey Bulger of the Boston based Winter Hill gang would serve as an informant through a link in the FBI to compromise his Italian rivals.

From a Darwinian perspective, religion seems to preserve genomes from intermingling, while rationalizing their right to triumph over one another. Studies have shown that even trees favor those similar to them in sharing nutrients. This is why religions happen to be so adapted to the environment from which they develop. In Islam, women wear the veil, which scholars will explain originated in order to discourage their exploitation in slave markets. Europeans may find it bizarre, to avoid the pun, that men be so compelled to pimp out women, that a religious tenet be implemented, concealing women's beauty, as not to temp them into to doing so. Such a culture simply didn't exist in Europe, therefore recourse to it was not necessary. The Barbary Slave Trade would however persist throughout the Islamic age, with women abducted from the coasts of Europe by Arab and Berber pirates. Maybe this difference in attitude can be put down to climate, where long winters incentivize a dependency upon trust and community inherently absent further East, where the strict consequence of punishment had to be used to achieve the same cohesion.

When prince Vladimir of the Pagan Rus was confronted with the decision to convert his subjects, Judaism was rejected on the grounds that the Jews had lost their holy land, and Islam on the grounds that the Rus people could not live without pork, sausage and beer. The Rus Vikings, of course, didn't have to worry about tapeworms and bacteria when it comes to keeping pork, as Jews and Muslims would in a desert climate—Jews, a people so cohesive, their religion and race go hand in hand. For whatever reason, ritual bestiality and necrophilia may not make sense to any of the aforementioned religions, as it does to Hindus of India. (See Ashvamedha Yajna ritual)

Claim that Jews are similar to Arabs

I wonder, if the goal of A Common Era is to put differences aside, why a racial commonality would matter, since it simultaneously argues against the divisive nature of singular identities. If a Sematic root is cause to bring Arabs and Jews together, then wouldn't it stand equally that a Persian root separate Jews and Arabs from Iranians, or the Indo-European Kurds—or for that matter everyone else from everyone else? I am playing devils advocate, as I do infect believe that ethnic differences bind and separate, just not as far as Jews and Arabs. The Arabic and Hebrew language have a Proto-sematic root, as do humans have a common ancestor with chimpanzees. I would admit to a familiarity between the races on this ground as I would with Scandinavians and Germans, or Scotts and the Irish, if it weren't for Jews' unique disposition as an other from, not just neighbouring Semites, but all peoples. The Talmud, which is used to interpret the Torah, clearly differentiate between Jews and gentiles, with a superiority in favor of the former: 

Benjamin Netanyahu invoked the biblical story of Amalek in reference to Palestinians after October 7: "You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible. And we do remember". This is more significant in the context of the scripture: ''Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. ''Strangers will shepherd your flocks, foreigners will work your fields and vineyards'' - Isaiah 61:5.

“A Gentile who strikes a Jew deserves death.” - Sanhedrin 58b.

 “When a Jew murders a Gentile, there will be no death penalty. What a Jew steals from a Gentile he may keep.” - Sanhedrin 57a.

“Gentile girls are in a state of niddah (impurity) from birth.” - Abodah Zarah 36b.

“If a Jew finds an object lost by a Gentile, it does not have to be returned.” - Baba Metzia 24a.

''When the lord your god brings you into the land he swore to you fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you a land with large flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant.'' - Deuteronomy 6:10-11. 

''The goyim shall rebuild your walls and their kings shall minister unto you. Your gates shall be open continuously day and night. They shall not be shut, that men may bring to you the wealth of the goyim with their kings lead in procession. For the goyim or kingdom that will not serve you shall perish. Those nations shall be utterly laid waste.'' - Isaiah 60:10-12.

''You shall suck the milk of the goyim, you shall suck the breast of kings.'' - Isaiah 60:10-16. 

''And goyim shall stand and feed your flocks, strangers shall be your ploughmen and vine dressers, but you shall be called the priests of the lord. men shall speak of you as the ministers of our god. you shall eat the wealth of the goyim, and in their riches you shall glory.'' - Isaiah 61:5-16.

The main issue here is that this is not foremost religious zealotry, rather, Jusaeism exists in service to the Jewish race. Israel has an ancestry based law of return which also employs the US of DNA tests. 

Menachem Mendel Schneerson was a leader of the ultra orthodox Chabad Lubavitch movement, and is credited with making it a global. If you've ever seen Jewish women who wear wigs for modesty in New York or London, that's what they belong to. Before his death, Schneerson conversed with Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to hasted the prophesized reckoning of the Hebrew Bible. The Rebbe's grave has been visited by Trump, Javier Mile, Mamdani and other elected officials in what appears to be a show of loyalty. This involves the placing of a rock, as is traditional Jewish custom. According to the book, Jewish Fundamentalism in Israel, the Rebbe spoke in a recorded message to settlers in Israel: ''The difference between a Jewish and non Jewish person stems from the common expression, let us differentiate. Thus we do not have a case of profound change which a person is merely on a superior level. Rather we have a case of, let us differentiate between totally different species. This is what needs to be said about the body. The body of a Jewish person is of a totally different quality from the body of members of all nations of the world.'' The book goes on to explain that ''a none Jewish soul comes from three Satanic spheres, while the Jewish soul stems from holiness. A Jew was not created as a means of some other purpose. He himself is the purpose since the substance of all divine emanations was created only to serve the Jews... the creation including the heavens and earth are vanity compared to the Jews. The important things are the Jews since they do not exist for any other aim. They themselves are the divine aim.'' In preface to this, the book admits that: ''The role of Satan, whose earthly embodiment according to the kabbalah, is every none Jew, has been minimalized or not mentioned by authors who have not written about the Kabbalah in Hebrew.''

This distinctive identity and its persistence throughout history is a by-product of their perfected disposition as money-handler and subsequent use to great powers throughout history, the earliest example of which would be the Akkadian Empire. Historically, prominent Jews have served nobility, while often known in Europe as Court Jews, given certain privileges, such as being able to loan money at interest. 

Jews came from as a loose assortment of tribes bound by their use as money lenders, and persisted as an identity because of this. Court Jews, and the presence of Jewish communities are useful for power-structures as a scapegoat to shield the rest of the nobility class from potential uprisings. This would explain the many exiles and pogroms throughout Jewish history, from Babylon to Rome. It is for this reason that the Rothschilds were at one time referred to as the guardians of the papal treasure. In cities where Jews have existed there were areas known as Jewish quarters, or ghettos. These enclaves were often permitted to have their own justice system, and were usually surrounded by walls with gates. These walls offered some protection from pogroms, which made the ghettos somewhat attractive to Jew communities, while also serving to keep them better under the control of the local monarchs, and other higher level nobility families. The ghetto of Rome was under the direct authority of the papacy, the residents of which where permitted to be pawn brokers, a profession prohibited for the Vatican's catholic followers, and one which incited hatred towards the ghetto's residents. 

This use could explain the persistence of the Jewish identity throughout the ages and across cultures. Just so, there have been many groups claiming to be Jews who have served the same position in governments across the world, such as the Cochin Jews of India, or the Kaifeng Jews of China. The majority of modern Jews themselves, the Ashkenazi, are said to be descended from Khazarian converts in Russia, who had not stepped one foot in the holy land.

The earliest potential mention of the Jews, is that of the Habiru people, who were semi-nomads people in the fertile crescent from around 18,000 to 11,000 BC.  They were generally referred to as outlaws mercenaries and slaves-more of a loose assortment of tribal alliances of social rejects and desperadoes than an ethnicity. Supposing Habiru to be ascendents of the Canaanite Hyksos, who conquered and ruled over Egypt throughout the 15th century BC, one can theorize that Judaism developed as an imitation of priestly classes, such as the high priests of Amun wat in Thebes, or the high priests of Ptah and Memphis, given the power and prestige that these groups had maintained. In the 13th century BC, the Egyptian vassal ruler of Jerusalem wrote to the Pharoah, complaining about Habiru plundering his lands. He asked why the Pharoah was letting them behave his way, and stated that without intervention, the Habiru would take over the land of Jerusalem, as they did. The advantage of wealthy alites always comes first, with miscellaneous constructs such as religion following as means.

The history of the Jews is not one of religion, and it should come as no surprise that most of Israel's prime ministers have been atheists. Israel has a race based law of return, not one based on a religion, which is why upon their attempt to obtain citizenship, to so called Jews of Ethiopia were systematically sterilized by Israeli health cervices without their knowledge, and are currently the poorest demographic within Israel.

Any potential protocol towards the end promoted has already been taken

We already have an establishment which bases its ethic on common respect for humanity (as apposed to in groups). It is only recently through radical changes in policy, that mass immigration into the West from underdeveloped countries with low average IQ scores has been facilitated. SERCO is a global company which was run by Rupert Christopher Soames, the grandson of Winston Churchill, from 2014 to 2023. In 2023 they set up an initiative offering landlords financial cover for leases, rent, council tax and repairs in exchange for housing asylum seekers during the dover migrant crisis, incentivizing the eviction of the native population. (https://www.serco.com/uk/sites/serco-aasc/landlords) The asylum seekers arriving were primarily from Albania and Afghanistan, neither of which were at war. The only people this kind of immigration benefits is wealthy business owners, as immigrants from such countries will work for penny's by the pound. Another advantage of diversity is that when workers don't have common ties through culture it makes them less likely to unionize. There is an incentive for the rich and powerful to promote equality and individualism over cultural sovereignty. It is therefore no surprise that notions of equality and individualism are promoted by large corporations in advertising and in the media, with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) credit offered by holding companies like Vanguard and BlackRock, and in government policy, through diversity quotas, sentiments echoed at the World Economic Forum, which Yuval Harari is head advisor to. Nor is it a surprise that there have in fact already been campaigns by religious institutions to normalize the notion of a universal religion:

• The United Religions Initiative is an NGO that has consultative status with the United Nations economic and social council, along with partnerships with other UN agencies. The founder and president of this initiative is Reverend William E. Swing, a former Bishop of California for the opposable Church. In Pakistan the United Religions Initiative (URI) regional coordinator is James Channan. He has been appointed by Pope John Paul II to work with the Vatican's commission for religious relations with Muslims, and has been a consultant to the Vatican's pontifical council for inter-religious dialogue. 

• Back in 2014 the Vatican hosted Islamic Prayers and readings from the Quran for the first time ever. 

• In September of 2015 Pope Francis made a speech at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. During this speech he stated that Muslims were worshiping the one god. 

• That September he made a speech at the UN General assembly talking about universal fraternity. The product of that assembly was a 2007 agenda for sustainable development. This agenda declared that all countries and stake holders in the UN will act in a collaborative partnership to implement their plans. The agenda claims to seek effective accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. 

• In January 2016 the Vatican released a video that featured authority figures of different major religions, with Pope Francis saying that all religions are seeking at meeting God in different ways, and that ultimately they are all children of God. In May of 2016 the Pope hugged and kissed the Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, who is recognized as the current highest authority in Sunni Islam. He then said the words "our meeting is the message." 

The Holy Sea, in tern, has observer status with the African Union, the Arab League, the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, the international organization for migration, the United Nations and several UN Agencies. 

My solution

Most Millennials are atheists, and the ones who aren't are young traditionalists who have no interest in sharing a religion with gays or people of cultures incompatible with their own. Some young men of a similar mindset associate with Paganism, and some are just secular, but attach themselves to self help culture filling a demand for men absent of direction or a father figure. The constant variable is the struggle of ordinary people within complex power-structures perfected throughout to undermine the mind body and spirit in favor of elite parasitism. 

Throughout all of history the rout of war has been the administration of elites in the interest of the rich and powerful, as it was with the Priestly classes of the ancient world, and is now with Neo-Con politicians and businessmen. This has always been the case, and to an extent always will. The best individuals can do is strengthen themselves and those closest to them, understand how to bypass exploitative swindles introduced into society, and constantly pass this wisdom down through their progeny. Change can come on the micro level through local campaigning; the trick is gauging the mean of what is worth doing given time and recourses at hand; this requires and instinct of shrewd, optimized thinking and creativity which only those few great come to exhibit in making their mark. As for grand change on the macro level, I have hypothesized that the information age is something unprecedented, which is why many of the points mentioned throughout this piece have been systematically censored by private tech companies like Google and YouTube: Google, who are in cahoots with the ADL and their interests; Twitter which was paid and pressured by the FBI to sensor certain material (as was revealed in the Twitter Files); and Facebook, which was pressured by the Biden administration. I Believe that power's grip on censorship is limited, and that with the right methods of systematizing, truths undermining power-structures may become undeniable within the public zeitgeist. The modern flow of information is unprecedented. We are at the precipice of a shift in the relationship between power-structures and their subjects unlike any other in history.
